Is Domino's gluten-free really gluten-free?
Domino's® pizza made with a Gluten Free Crust is prepared in a common kitchen with the risk of gluten exposure. Therefore, Domino's® DOES NOT recommend this pizza for customers with celiac disease. Customers with gluten sensitivities should exercise judgment in consuming this pizza.
As for boneless wings, Domino's only offers them in plain, breaded form, but you'll also be given a choice of dipping sauce to kick them up a notch.
Good news – it's actually a *completely different base*? to the supermarket one. Schar have spent YEARS working with Dominos to develop this base and its specifically made for them. My verdict: its thin, has a fluffy middle, crunchy crusts and tastes great. Genuinely really enjoyed it.
They only produce small gluten-free pizzas because those ordering them would oftentimes not be sharing them. I think maybe you've chosen the wrong profession. Large thin crust get no more or less food than a large hand tossed so I am assuming you can't be bothered to make anything larger than a 10" or you stress out.
As I'm sure you might have noticed, Domino's halted serving gluten-free pizza during the pandemic as a result of scaling back to a more limited menu. But not only are they now back, they're a little different!
Unfortunately, that meant removing gluten-free pizza crusts from the Domino's menu for a while. We said we'd bring back Domino's gluten free pizza bases to our menus as soon as we could do it safely in store – and we're super excited to relaunch them nationwide!
The wings are lightly breaded and then oven baked. As is often the case of baked wings, even without being covered in sauce, there was very little in the way of crispiness--just a few odd edges here and there.
Naked wings are not breaded. There's no flour or baking powder coating added to the chicken. A great example is buffalo wings, which are almost never breaded. They are seasoned and cooked and then drizzled in buffalo sauce.
Traditionally, the wings are deep-fried in oil, without breading or flour until they are well browned. Alternatively, they may be baked, grilled, or broiled.

Avoiding Cross-Contamination

For McDonald's it's not worth the risk: It doesn't want to run the danger of cross-contamination. Tater tots are made from potatoes, oil, salt, and not much else. However, most store-bought brands of tater tots are not certified gluten-free, which means that they could be subject to cross-contamination during manufacturing. Ore-Ida potatoes are the exception: rest assured that they are definitely gluten-free!
